Communications from Bob Maitland
Office of Emergency Services Coordinator
City of Mountain View
During this time of unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic, I wanted to reach out and provide some resources and links for you to use and share with your CERT Neighborhood groups. The City of Mountain View has been working continuously to update information as it becomes available from multiple resources
Many of you want to do all you can and I want to encourage you to take care of yourselves and your families. If you know of someone in your community that is struggling, please let me know, call 9-1-1 if you suspect an emergency, or call the Non-Emergency number at 650.903.6395.
The City's EOC has been ‘Partially Activated’ and is in close communication and coordination with the Santa Clara County's EOC. The City of Mountain View recently declared a state of emergency which allows for the mobilization of resources and to reduce regulatory barriers to make decisions and react faster.
For more information on actions the City has taken, resources available to minimize spread and other important information, visit MountainView.gov/COVID and follow City Hall on social media through Twitter.MountainView.gov, Facebook.MountainView.gov, MountainView.gov/Instagram, log in to Nextdoor.com or subscribe on MountainView.gov/YouTube.
Respectfully,
Bob Maitland
