Citywide CERT exercise ...    next Saturday, November 12, 1:00 - 4:00 PM.  

The concept for this exercise is having the fire engine company in our district visit our command post.    We will provide firefighters with more information about CERT capabilities and how we operate and provide our CERT neighborhood an opportunity to interact with firefighters.

This will be a good time to have some damage assessment forms filled out and a simulated incident or two to help start the conversation with the firefighters when they get there.

We plan to set up the Incident Command Post and review the contents of the CERT sheds.  We will learn how to use the generator and chain saw, as well as the proper set up of the command post.     

We will meet at the cul-de-sac by Windsor Lochs, 248 Walker Drive, at the CERT sheds at 1:00PM.
