About WWNA CERT
Following a major disaster, people will have to rely on each other for help in order to meet their immediate life-saving and life sustaining needs. Joining the neighbourhood CERT will help community members be aware of how to find help, help get to know your neighbourhood and stay up to date with your skills.
As of July 2012, the neighborhood CERT group is starting to form a more organized group, and plans are in the works to create an emergency plan including, among other things, a central meeting point, designated block captains, first aid volunteers, and communications teams.
