City-Wide CERT Exercise - Saturday October 21, 2017

This is a sign-up form for those wishing to participate in the Mountain View City-Wide CERT Exercise on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Back by popular demand, this will be a First Responder Exercise where local Fire Station engines will visit Neighborhood CERT Command Posts as if they were responding to provide assistance.  What this does is acquaint each Fire Station with their closest CERTs, learning how to find their Command Posts, and seeing what information is available to help them help you.  Participants will get to learn what First Responders need when they arrive and will probably come up with some things that Neighborhood CERTs could do better to make First Responder help more timely and effective.

It will be a good day of Lessons Learned when we debrief at 1000 Villa at 1600 at the end of the exercise. Beverages & Nibbles will be served.

You will also want to contact your Neighborhood CERT Leader if they haven’t contacted you already, or, if you aren’t part of a CERT, we will connect you with one that is participating.
